Every Day Kids Parties...
Hello Dear Party Lovers,
Every day there is at least 1 kid party going on. Think about it, baby showers, birthdays, graduations, end of year sports parties, beginning of the year sports parties, bar/bat mitzvah, christenings ohhhh the list can go on and on!!
I know that most parties that I have for my kids are minimum of $500.00 sounds like a lot huh? Well, if you calculate, food drinks and decor - $500.00 is a bargain! It is usually more like $1000.00 after everything is said and done!
I assume that if I were a celebrity I would spend a lot more - and well there would be more people to invite, feed and entertain.
So here is the question everyone is dying to know...how much is too much...and if you had the time, money and effort how would YOU spend the money on your children's milestones?

!!!
Hello Dear Party Lovers,
I was reading the Editors Note in Real Simple Magazine, in that article was this quote:
"Sometimes I think Americans must have invented the exclamation mark -
"Sometimes I think Americans must have invented the exclamation mark -
it's their state of mind." - Monika Kochhar
I don't know about you - but I use exclamation points A LOT!
It shows my love, excitement, and joy for whatever I am talking about!
Use an exclamation point at the end of your sentence to create energy AND show your American Spirit!
LOVE, ROCHELLE!!!

Its National Candy Month!
Hello Dear Party Lovers,
I don't know about you but, my favorite type of candy is anything fruity! I love taffy's in an assortment of flavors and by far my favorite candy is the sweet tart chews (the ones at the theater that are those BB sized balls of sweet goodness). So yummy! I know, coming from a girl, this next statement may be shocking but...I am not really a fan of chocolate unless it is the hot chocolate gelato they pour over vanilla ice cream at the Macaroni Grill.
I am also a huge fan of candy tables (or dessert tables)! We have come a long way since the very first candies of dried honey and unrefined chocolate! Look at all the great colors...
Please - Enjoy the Eye CANDY!

Rustic Summer Colors
When planning a summer BBQ this year - keep these colors in mind.
Add a purple table runner...
Putting it together...
Start with a chocolate brown picnic table
Add a purple table runner...
Set the table with pale yellow dishes
Decorate the table with watermelon red flowers
Top those pale yellow plates with a splash of orange (not exactly cantaloupe - but still lovely)
Happy Picnicking!

Photo Books - Love them
I love photo books! With the same high quality as coffee table books you don't have to put away those beautiful pictures! Often times wedding albums are big and bulky and easily ruined. With these photo books you can get your choice of hard back or paperback (at some vendors) which would be beautiful as a coffee table book in your home or even your office!
As you can see the pages are just like those of a real book allowing your to add hundreds of photos instead of a select few for the same or less than traditional photo books!
These pictures were taken from the coffee table photo book site in Tallahassee.
Enjoy the site! I did!

Lighting your event with LED
Educational Moment...
LEDs, or light-emitting diodes, produce more light per watt than incandescent bulbs. LED bulbs last more than 15 times longer, use less energy! (source)
What does that mean for your party or event?
1. A more green (earth friendly) option for lighting
2. Saves money by using less lights more efficiently
3. The color choices and display options are amazing and brilliant!
Here are some pictures of LED events...

From Elegant to Funky, lighting can make or break a great event!
Don't forget the lighting at your next event!
Tiny Tot Tuesday...
Its spring break!
Here are some fun ideas to keep those kids busy!
How about a trip to your favorite Science Museum
(ours is the California Academy of Science in San Francisco)
Go with a group and when you come home continue the education with a rain forest party...
Grab a bucket of rain forest creatures - Set them loose in the back yard (hide them in your back yard) See who can find the most animals! What you find you get to keep!
Have some jungle snacks and call it a day!
Don't forget to take pictures of your wild animals running through the yard!
Boy, your kids will sleep good tonight!
Monday's Magazine Madness
Today while checking out Vogue.com I came accross this fabulous iPhone app!
Always know what you are going to wear to that next fabulous event!
